Royal Electrical & Heating Inc. offers professional HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and Electrical services to residential and commercial clients in Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
- All services are performed by licensed professionals in accordance with the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) and Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) regulations.
- We reserve the right to refuse service if the work environment is deemed unsafe or if the requested work violates safety codes.
3. Estimates and Quotes
- Estimates: Initial estimates provided over the phone or online are non-binding and subject to change based on an on-site inspection.
- Final Quote: A final quote will be provided before work begins. Any unforeseen issues discovered during the work (e.g., outdated wiring behind walls, pre-existing damage) may require additional costs. We will always seek your approval before proceeding with extra work.
4. Booking and Cancellations
- Scheduling: Appointments are subject to availability. We strive to arrive within the scheduled window, but unforeseen delays may occur.
- Cancellations: We respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide notice may result in a cancellation fee.
- Emergency Services: Emergency calls are prioritized, and specific rates may apply for after-hours or weekend services.
5. Payments
- Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Methods: We accept cash, credit cards, e-transfers, and other approved payment methods.
- Late Payments: Overdue invoices may be subject to interest charges or collection fees as permitted by Ontario law.
6. Warranties and Guarantees
- Workmanship: We stand behind our work. We offer a limited warranty on our labor/workmanship. If an issue arises directly related to our installation within the warranty period, we will rectify it at no extra cost.
- Parts & Equipment: Warranties for parts, furnaces, AC units, or electrical components are provided by the respective manufacturers. We will assist you in processing these warranty claims where possible.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Royal Electrical & Heating Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing faults in your home’s electrical or HVAC systems.
- We are not liable for damages caused by misuse of equipment, lack of maintenance by the homeowner, or “Acts of God” (e.g., severe weather, floods).
8. User Obligations
You agree to provide a safe working environment for our technicians. This includes keeping the work area clear of obstacles, pets, and children during the service visit. You must also disclose any known hazards (e.g., asbestos, previous faulty DIY work) prior to the start of the job.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
